EMS SETS A NEW STANDARD FOR BICARBONATE TREATMENT IN TURF AND AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY WITH NEW BURST TECHNOLOGY

Melbourne, FL – (December 17, 2008) Environmental Manufacturing Solutions, EMS, has discontinued production of the SynTech® AR (a.k.a  UAP/Loveland brand Thunderstorm®). The production of the SynTech AR / Thunderstorm was discontinued in October 2008 in order that EMS could replace the old chemistry with a stronger more effective Burst technology.

Farm Managers and Turf Superintendents around the world have used SynTech synthetic acid technology to negate the harmful effects of high bicarbonates in their soil and water. The new Burst technology allows these professionals to obtain the same safe results by using much less product, resulting in an estimated 75% reduction in shipping and handling costs.

“Both Burst Turf and Burst Ag have delivered far superior results over the older technologies previously offered by EMS,” said Paul Smith, Director of Turf and Agriculture products. “Instead of treating water, Burst allows us to solve problems in the soil. The unique properties of SynTech allow EMS to provide treatments that would be impossible with acids.”

Turf and Agriculture formulations of SynTech synthetic acid chemistry are now available in the United States and Canada only in the product brands Eximo and the new Burst formulations. No other brand names or products will carry the SynTech ingredient and authorized “Powered by SynTech” logo.
